A storytelling and creative direction by April Marie Canillo on behalf of The Twenty Thirty Project Toronto Chapter’s grassroots initiative and inspired by the United Nation’s 2019 theme of achieving gender equality.
Bringing to light the discrimination and struggle of women, while also celebrating women’s success. This campaign is designed to empower women and girls in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) as well as those on their own journey of growth through quotes by powerful and innovative change-makers. After each question asked, the young early-20s women casted in this role proudly shared their experiences and advice with raw honesty.
